Hi fellow state directors, I have been thinking about our duties and responsibilities which are vast and can seem at times overwhelming, wondering what we can do to help each other. I realize the year is slowly coming to a close, our duties are becoming less burdensome but then tax season looms on the horizon and our minds will pretty much be on taxes. I don't know how many of you read and/or participate in tax talk but I was thinking that we have this great state director community that we could use to post our questions and/or suggestions for the upcoming year. Do you all have your calendar of events set up, have all of the supplies you need, how about your expense reports ready to turn in after you attend a seminar or event, have you given your governor a budget? Which events do you attend? Just your state or other organizations as well? There are many topics for us to discuss and share, I would hope that others feel the same way, let's get our own "State Director Talk" started.
