2011 IRS Tax Forum Speakers and Session Information, sponsored by NSA

NSA is proud to sponsor four outstanding speakers at the 2011 IRS Tax Forums, who will be facilitating the following sessions at each of the Tax Forums:

Client Consents and Disclosures Issues and Answers
Day 1: 3:25-4:20pm
Day 2: 8:00-8:50am
Code section 7216 and the attending rules have changed the way tax return preparers interact with our clients. With the proper implementation, these regulations can improve both our practice and our relationships with our clients. This session will explore the emerging issues that arise in every tax practice and provide solid guidance on how the implementation of best practices can become a value added tool for building a highly successful business model. This session is a must attend for every paid preparer who wants to build their practice.

Subchapter S Corporations - Issues and Answers
Day 2: 3:10-4:00pm
Day 3: 10:10-11:00am
S corporations continue to be the most popular business entity in the U.S. today and yet most of our clients do not understand its complexity. The rules keep changing, and tax professionals need to stay on top of how they can best serve their clients. This session focuses on what’s new for 2011 and beyond, and addresses some of the typical problem areas, including reasonable compensation and officer loans. It also covers the "hot" and "new" issues that S corporations face and provides real answers to help you educate your clients and keep them in compliance.

Our speakers will alternate teaching two different sessions at each of the six Tax Forums, and we’d like to take a moment to introduce them to you!
