iPad 10W USB Power Adapter

A friend of mine was sharing his high tech secrets with me the other day.   So I decided to share one of those secrets with my friends at NSA.

The secret is the iPad 10W (watt) USB Power adapter (charger)(Model number is A1367).  Most of the iPhone and iPod power adapters are 2.5 or 2.6 watts.  The ten watt adapter charges faster and is the only adapter-charger that you should use with your iPad or it will take you much longer to charge your iDevices.

The big advantage is a much quicker charge time.  The increase in charge may vary but can be as much as four times faster with new batteries in your device.  I encourage you to buy and try this apple iPad accessory.

I purchased my adapter at the technology section of Wallmart.  You can also purchase the adapter from Amazon for $36.00 (http://www.amazon.com/Apple-A1357-MA591G-Extension-922-5463/dp/B007JS1Q40/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1340030410&sr=8-9&keywords=ipad+10w+usb+power+adapter+apple)

The adapter comes with the "data dock cable" (MA591G) Cable is a USB to iPad, iPod, and iPhone cable that allows for data exchange as well as charging on all the devices, the three prong extension cord called AC power cord (922-5463) by Apple, and the two prong AC plug adapter, .

The power adapter comes with a 31 page manual that describes the use in nine languages.  Lucky for me that the first language in the book from page 2 to 4 is English-which is my native language.  The device comes with two separate AC plugs.  One plug has a three prong (grounded) standard USA type power cord on it that can plug into two and three prong 120V (volt) outlets.  The other plug is ungrounded and only has two prongs to plug into ungrounded 120 volt outlets.

The cord can be purchased separately for $14.59.  Amazon has the cord listed at (http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Power-Extension-Cord-922-5463/dp/B0080A3V4E/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1340030104&sr=8-11&keywords=ipad+10w+usb+power+adapter+apple)

I am shocked and amazed at the high cost of these devices but they are essential for effective use of the iPad, iPhone, and iPod.
