This webinar will focus on retirement
planning, including descriptions of various types of retirement plans
and evaluates a series of planning techniques for maximizing funds for
retirement. The tax consequences of all types of retirement plans, from
simple Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) to comprehensive corporate
plans, will be covered. The focus then will shift to planning
possibilities, such as rollovers to Roth IRAs, complying with Required
Minimum Distribution rules, and choosing the best plans for small
business.

the basic requirements, benefits, and limits of qualified retirement
plans, from the perspective of both the employer and employee
- Describe the requirements of SEP and SIMPLE retirement plans
- Identify the benefits and restrictions applicable to regular and Roth Individual Retirement Accounts
- Explain the tax consequences of nonqualified retirement plans
- Evaluate the effect of supplemental retirement plans on take-home pay and projected retirement benefits
- Evaluate
retirement planning strategies to individuals using spreadsheet
examples to illustrate pension maximum strategies and making a Sec.
83(b) election for nonqualified plans.
