I am a native and resident of Asheboro, NC where I attended and graduated from Asheboro High School. At the age of 16 I went to work at a local variety store and in just a few weeks, put into the office to learn payables, receivables and payroll.
I am a graduate of Maison de Paris Beauty College and a licensed cosmetologist. I also have degrees with double majors of Business Administration and Accounting.
I joined the Central Chapter of NCSA in 1985, became a member of North Carolina Society of Accountants, the state society, in 1988 and joined National Society of Accountants in 1992. I have served and chaired many committees for the NCSA as well as chaired on served many in the local chapter. I have been a Board member of State various times and served as Secretary, President Elect and was President 2014-2015 of NCSA.
Working in the corporate world as an accountant and officer of a company was a full time occupation while having my own practice as a part time accountant up until 1996 when I became full time in my own practice and have an office in Asheboro, NC.
