Michael heads up a tax & accounting firm started by his father, a retired EA & NSA member, in the back of a barbershop in the late 60's in the Augusta, GA area. In 2002, Michael purchased the practice after working in the practice for over 10 years. The practice is now a registered CPA firm with both Georgia & South Carolina. The firm has 5 full time emloyees including son & daughter.

Prior to coming into the public accounting arena, Michael spent an enlistment in the Air Force & followed completing both undergraduate & graduate school in Accounting & Business in the Augusta, GA. area.
In addition to public accounting, Michael worked 10 years in private industry in various accounting roles & has taught income tax & business classes at several area technical colleges.
Michael is both a CPA & EA. He served recently for 2 years on the Georgia State Board of Accounting & is a member of several civic oraganizations including rotary.
When not counting beans, Michael enjoys spending time with the family, golfing, traveling, reading & always tries to brush up on guitar skills playing on old acoustic rock.
