Concerned about the Corona Virus?

NSA is watching for developments in the news, and not only for things that affect tax and accounting professionals. As a professional society, and as individuals, we are concerned for our communities, families, clients, and one another. in this blog post, we would like to share some resources that may help keep you informed and prepared as the situation continues to evolve.

Here are some basic steps for protecting yourself that we adapted from the World Health Organization's list:
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and/or hand sanitizer.
  • Maintain social distancing: stay about 3 feet away from someone who is coughing or sneezing).
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth-they are areas where a virus can easily enter your body.
  • Practice respiratory hygiene: cover your mouth with your elbow, or a tissue, when you cough or sneeze. Be sure to immediately discard the tissue and wash your hands.
  • If you experience trouble breathing, have a cough, or a fever, seek medical help immediately.
  • If you don’t feel well, stay at home.
  • Stay informed. Seek out information from reliable sources for updated information on preparedness, exposures in your area, and topics that may affect you directly (like travel restrictions).
More tips and information can be found at the links we've assembled here.
