William (Bill) Bourbonnais II, principal and founder of Bourbonnais Tax Associates LLC, has served as a very successful tax and accounting consultant since 1993 when he established his first tax preparation firm in San Diego.
Bill has operated as an independent tax and accounting consultant for clients in numerous industries, including custom manufacturing, IT and professional consulting, real estate investing, property management, non-profit companies, e-commerce, farming and ranching, and more. He has owned and operated multi-office tax preparation firms as well as smaller independent firms in California, Arizona, and North Carolina.
Bill has taught undergraduate tax and accounting for a major national university and holds a BSBA and an MBA in finance. He has been an Enrolled Agent since 1996. In addition to being a member of NSA, he holds active memberships in the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), North Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents (NCSEA), and American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS).
