Who is an RTRP? 

A Registered Tax Return Preparer is an individual who has met all of the following requirements: 

1. Obtained a PTIN 
2. Passed the IRS test establishing minimal competency
3. Has an RTRP certificate from the IRS
4. Met IRS-mandated CPE requirements
